Thank you for shopping with us. We hope you love your handmade jewellery as much as we loved creating it for you. We meticulously create and check each piece before it has being sent to you, although we know sometimes issues can arise so we are here to assist you and make sure you are satisfied with everything.

Please read our returns and exchange policy carefully to ensure a smooth and happy experience.

Sizing

Our stretch bracelets at Chapters are designed to be worn a little looser to aid rolling them on and off and therefore not over stretching your elastic.

Sizes are:

Small      16CM 

Medium  17cm 

Large       18CM 

If you want a custom size please message us begore placing your order. With larger sizes there will be a small extra charge.

Personalised Items

Due to the bespoke nature of personalised jewellery, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any items that have been customised, engraved, or made-to-order specifically for you.

 Please ensure that all personalisation details (such as engraving, initials, names, dates, etc.) are correct at the time of purchase, as we are unable to make changes once production has begun. Always include your exact personalisation details in the notes section at checkout, exactly how you want them.

Warranty 

There is six month warranty on all pieces covering issues like broken elastic, lost beads or any faults with your pieces. We will repair or replace these for you free of charge.

Please note that warranty does not cover lost or stolen items, cleaning or accidental damage, (you can get in touch to see if it is repairable for a small fee), changes in finish from contact with outside agents or abrasive activities.

Please note that our gemstone beads can change colour or discolour over time with some being more susceptible than others, like rose quartz and mother of pearl and can often be accelerated by external factors like sunlight, heat and chemicals.

Defective or Damaged Items

 If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of receiving your order). We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund for defective products, subject to the evaluation of the condition of the item.

Defective Component:

We offer a 90 day guarantee on individual components for defects (this excludes where breakage occurs outside of closure area due to breakages caused with impact/pressure outside of delicate jewellery).

Care of your jewellery 

Our stretch bracelets are made from clear jewellery elastic and can withstand reasonable wear and tear. They should be rolled on and off, please dont stretch them. 

Please do not expose your jewellery to moisture as this may affect the life of your pieces, even though gold filled will not tarnish.

Our pieces are NOT toys and you should keep them away from young children. Small parts are a choking hassard

Gold filled

Gold filled is made when a thick layer of gold is mechanically bonded to a base metal. The layer consists of a minimum of 5% of the jewellery's total weight. 

This is different to gold plating, where a thin layer of gold is essentially painted onto a base metal, resulting in tarnishing over time.

Gold filled jewellery is suitable for people with nickel allergies and sensitive skin. Gold filled will not tarnish with day-to-day wear.

With the right care gold-filled jewellery can last a lifetime. 

Sterling silver 

Sterling silver jewellery can tarnish over time but thankfully it can be restored to itself and also avoided with proper care.

Sterling silver should be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and harsh chemicals. It should always be stored in an airtight Jewellery box. Regularly polish your sterling silver with a soft cloth and wear it frequently, as the natural oils from your skin can help keep it clean. 

Concerns

if you have any concerns about the quality or condition of your jewellery upon receiving it, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide clear photos and a brief description of the issue so we can assess and resolve the matter promptly. We want every customer to be completely happy with their purchase, and we’ll do our best to make things right.
